As the 2024 Snow College football season commences, the Badgers continue to be a predominant powerhouse in the National Junior College Athletic Associations. Outsourcing their opponents by a combined 231-40 over their first four games and 188-0 over their first 3. Snow notches in at three in this week's NJCAA rankings, after their last win over number thirteen-ranked, Lakawana.

Being a top team in the country is not an unfamiliar spot for the Badgers, having been to the national championship two times in the last four years and winning in 2020. Snow is well-respected by many and considers itself a top-tier program across the nation.

The Badgers have proved they are a force to be reckoned with this season, scoring a touchdown on every single drive against the Community Christian Lions, winning 70-0. Sophomore quarterback, Donnie Smith, had quite the performance completing 13 of 17 passes for four touchdowns. Smith's passing attack is backed by a remarkable rushing offense led by freshman Isaiah Lauofo, who rushed for 119 yards on 17 carries and 2 touchdowns against the Lions on saturday.

The defense alone is something to be ecstatic about if you are a Snow College Badger. Holding their first two teams to no scores and allowing a minuscule 226 yards of total offense across both games. Snow has forced two fumbles this season, giving them a +2 in the turnover margin on the season. When asked about the keys to the defense’s success, starting defensive lineman, Easton Cook, said, “The comradery we have, it's the best position group I’ve ever been a part of.” He credits a lot of success to their new defensive line coach, former NFL player, Ricky Ali’ifua. He said that Ricky “brings a new perspective to the game technique wise… he’s very big on fundamentals…He brings so much IQ”

The Badgers seem well on their way to another successful season and deep playoff run. They will square off against Iowa western on Saturday, October 5th in Iowa.
