On February 25, Snow College held its annual Transfer Day event, giving students the chance to explore future educational opportunities. The event was a busy and exciting day filled with information and guidance for those looking to transfer to other schools or apply for graduation.

Several colleges and universities came to Snow College with their advisors to help students. Schools like Utah State, Southern Utah University (SUU), Ensign College, Utah Tech, and Western Governors University (WGU) were there to answer questions and provide advice on transferring. The advisors helped explain programs, scholarships, and other important details about what these schools have to offer.

Snow College advisors were also available to assist students in applying for graduation. They worked with students to ensure they were on track to graduate and prepared for their next steps. Shawna Cole, an Academic Advisor at Snow College, was there and shared why this event is important for students. She said, “It’s a great way for students to come and meet advisors from other schools, get questions answered, and apply for scholarships.”

Transfer Day is an important event for many students who are nearing the end of their time at Snow College. It helps them feel confident about transferring to another school or finishing their degree. By talking to advisors in person, students gain valuable knowledge and guidance that helps make the transition smoother. The opportunity to apply for scholarships is another key benefit that makes the day worthwhile.

With so many schools attending, Transfer Day gives Snow College students many choices for their future. Events like this help students plan the next steps of their education, making sure they can achieve their goals.
