The Snow College Ambassador team is a group of student leaders that specialize and focus on prospective student recruitment. This team consists of 41 total Ambassadors, with 36 student leaders located on the Ephraim campus and 5 Ambassadors on the Richfield campus.
Their duties include providing campus tours, working in the Admissions office, and helping with Snow College recruitment open houses. Ambassadors are responsible for visiting various high schools throughout Utah to encourage students to attend Snow College. This team plans, promotes, and executes campus visit opportunities, known as Day Blasts and Snow Blasts. These events provide high school juniors and seniors with a campus tour, participation in campus events, and allows them to experience a “day in the life of a college student.”
Kade Simmons, the Ambassador team President said, “My favorite part about being on the Ambassador team is the connections I get to make statewide, whether it’s while visiting a high school or through other people I meet on our team.”
Ambassador applications are now available for the 2023-24 academic year. If selected, this opportunity provides students with a half tuition scholarship.
Rylie Schmidt, another member of the Ambassador team, said, “As an incoming freshman, college was the most daunting thing for me. This team gave me an opportunity to connect with students, has provided an automatic friend group, and helped me stay involved on campus. The Ambassador team has provided an all around amazing experience.”
Ambassador application’s for the next school year can be found at https://www.snow.edu/admissions/ambassador_program.html. The application deadline for an Ephraim campus ambassador position is February 1st. To apply for a Richfield campus ambassador position, applications are due April 20th.
