Looking for something to do on Wednesday nights? The Snow College pride club hosts a wide variety of different events. The pride club is hosting a Halloween party, a queer dance, slideshow presentation nights, and even movie nights.
Recently they hosted a movie night featuring Coraline to get people into the Halloween spirit. They also had an event for national coming out day, on Oct 11, 2024. This event was where the club invited people to come, listen to music, and grab a rainbow flag pin. They had people there that could answer questions people had about coming out, and what the pride club is.
The President, Alex Seamons says, “You should come even if you aren’t queer.” The pride club strives to create a safe and fun atmosphere for everyone.
Pride club strives to make others feel safe and included. “A place to open up to others that is judgmental free.” Replied Meg, an ambassador for the club.
Everyone is invited to the pride club, queer or not! Not just to promote inclusivity, but to be there for friends and find family along the way.
Most events are geared toward everyone, not just the queer community. It is a good way to socialize and meet new people. It is also a place dedicated to making others feel not so alone. So stop on by and join in for an activity. Come see what having pride is all about!
