Snow College’s men’s soccer has seen great success during conference play. The team has won eleven of fifteen games, losing three and tying two.

Snow College men’s soccer is No. 17 according to NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association) division one ranking and No. 3 in the SWAC (Scenic West Athletic Conference). The team looks to continue their success in upcoming games.

Most scores led by at least two points over their opponents. Men’s soccer has dominated conference play with a current record of nine wins, three losses, and two ties.

On Sept. 14, against Colorado Northwestern Community College, Snow won 2-0 with goals from Max Mayer and Carlos Rodriguez. Assists came from Jack Cook and Aidan Moore.

When asked about occasional hardships during the season, Logan Funk responded, “When we lose we realize what we did wrong and we don’t dwell on it. It’s just one game and we can still have a great season. At this point, we have to win at all costs.”

In a recent game against Pacific Northwest Christian, Snow College was hugely successful. They won at home with a score of 13 to zero.

This game featured goalies, Mathias Christensen and Carson Wilde. Snow College had 31 total shots and 12 corner kicks.

Another game spotlight included a game vs. College of Southern Idaho on Sept 28. Snow College won six to two, with Christensen returning to play 90 minutes.

Moore, Nefthaly Loya, Cook, Mayer, and Ragnar Fridriksson all scored goals.

The Badgers have been very successful this season. Jack Cooke, a team captain, says the following about continuing their winning streak. “It’s a lot about finding our rhythm and chemistry with the team; we have a good chance to get to the final and win it.”

After tying with Truckee Meadows CC on Oct 24, the men’s team played College of Southern Idaho on Oct 26 and tied again. This is the conclusion of conference play before the Region 18 tournament.

Snow College’s men’s soccer team looks to finish their season strong. Their overall record before the tournament is 11 wins, three losses, and two ties.
