As the second semester is in full swing it is important to find ways to get involved. Many people complain that “there is nothing to do in Ephraim” while there may be very few places to go, there are a lot of things to do.

One, find your people. Whether that be your friends from highschool, your roommates, teammates, or even classmates and co-workers it is important to find ways to connect on a human level beyond your cell phone. Katie O’Driscoll said that one of her favorite things to do is “spend time in my apartment with my roommate.” Connecting is a great way to stay entertained and socially active in a small town such as Ephraim.

Two, join a club. Snow College has a wide range of activities to get involved in with over 50 clubs and teams for students to join. Snow offers clubs for everyone to encourage involvement, friendship, companionship, and growth. Clubs like Western Swing, Pride Club, and Volleyball are just a few of the clubs Snow College has to offer. If students can't seem to find a club that sparks their interests, Snow College makes it easy to start your own. For more info on starting a club students can visit Snow Colleges Student organization and clubs page.

Three, be an active student. Snow College puts on many activities for students to attend. Some favorites of the semester have been Skate Night, Mac N’ Mic, and Hypno Hick. While staying on top of your classes it is important to be involved in school as well. Show up to Snow sponsored activities as well as Snow College sports.
