It’s the best season in school history for Head Coach Andrew May as his team is dominating leading to a 20-1 record and the number one ranking in the country.

Coach May’s team played their first three home games in Scenic West Athletic Conference play this season and held serve going 3-0 with 2 of them being double digit blow outs.

The Badgers played their first home game since November 30th in their conference home opener Thursday January 16th against North Idaho College (NIC) and came out with an 88-81 victory behind a 30 point performance from redshirt-sophomore forward Isaac Finlinson and 17 points from sophomore guard Colman Ford.

Two days later on Saturday January 18th Snow College followed that up by playing the then No. 16 team in the country that was College of southern Idaho (CSI). Colman Ford once again had a standout performance with a career high 25 points on 9 of 12 shooting from the field. The badgers shot a blistering 15-30 from behind the 3-point line to help secure a 110-82 routing of the CSI Golden Eagles.

After a close win at Utah State Eastern on January 9th, Coach May’s team was looking to assert their dominance over the Eagles in the second matchup, and they did just that winning 115-78.

It was an offensive explosion from the Badgers as they assisted on 35 of 42 made field goals and knocked down 19 threes. Isaac Finlinson played his best game in a Snow College uniform scoring a career-high 35 points on 13-16 from the field and 6-6 from the 3-point line while also having a career-high in assists with 8.

Freshman Center Sean Felts had a career high 18 points and Coach may credited his defense as well “The points aspect of it were great but what he did on the defensive end… I was super pleased with that.” Felts finished with 3 blocks and 2 steals.

The Badgers are now on the road the road again looking to remain undefeated in conference play at College of Southern Idaho Thursday, January 30th at 7 p.m. They will proceed to play at College of North Idaho Saturday, February 1st at 3 p.m. before they return home for another pair of games vs Colorado Northwestern Community College and currently No.24 Salt Lake Community College.3
