Ephraim Hosts Parade and Concert

Concert, parades, lights and firework show? Nothing sounds like a better way to kick off the holiday season.

On December 3rd, at 5:00pm, Snow College bands will join together and perform with the 23rd Army Band. This will be a music festival and will take place in the Greenwood Student Center.

This will be just the beginning of the festivities on that day. Ephraim, Utah will be hosting different activities for the day. After the concert, they will join with the Ephraim City’s Annual Light Parade. There will also be fireworks at the end.

This event is an exciting moment for Ephraim residents. The light show has gone on for over 10 years. People can sign up and bring their own float. This has become bigger every year and in 2015, they made their own facebook page dedicated to it for the popularity it has gotten.

Lifelong Sampete resident, Lexi Good, said, “I’m very excited for this year’s parade and show! My family and I have gone every year since I was little. It’s a tradition within our family.”

There is no greater way to feel the unity of this small town and college, pride in our country, and the Christmas spirit than this event.

Come by the GSC first for the free concert and then join in the light parade and fireworks for an unforgettable night.
