Collin is currently a sophomore playing for the Snow College football team. He originally played offensive line, until this spring when he was moved to the defensive line. Lewis has been excelling there and continues to get better everyday.
Lewis is 23 years old, and was born and raised with three siblings, by his parents Ann and Daryl Lewis in Price, Ut. Collin was a three-sport athlete at Carbon High School, playing football, basketball, and baseball. He was an all-state athlete in his senior year in both football and baseball.
After graduating in 2019, Lewis joined the United States Marine Corps, where he served four years of active duty. At his two-year mark in the military, he was deployed to Kuwait and was later deployed to Afghanistan for a month. Lewis then finished out his contract at Camp Pendleton, California.
Collin Lewis then got out of the Military, on August 12th of 2023. He then was a walk-on athlete for football at Snow College. He redshirted last year and has now earned a full ride scholarship to play. When asked about his progress he said, “I try to get better each and every day and try to learn as much as possible. I earned a starting spot this year and love rotating in with the 1’s and 2’s. My teammates push me to get better everyday and I try to do the same for them.”
Lewis also said when asked about his expectations this season, “We expect to be the best versions of ourselves each week to ultimately get the results we want. We work hard on pushing ourselves everyday so we can make those expectations a reality.”
Snow College is currently 4-0 and have had a great start to the season. Snow College's next home football game is October 26th, in Ephraim, Utah. Come support Collin and the rest of the football team!
