Snow College’s softball has taken off this year and is in full swing this spring semester.

The Badgers have endured many obstacles this year, however, they have one goal and that is to win. From the players to the coaches, everyone just wants to win and that is what they have their minds set to.

The Lady Badgers softball team is led by head coach Mikelle Magalogo who took over as head coach in the summer of 2022. She previously coached at CSI as well as playing JUCO ball herself at CSI as well at the Division one level at Southern Utah University. Talking about this job Coach Magalogo said, “I love this opportunity that I have and I love helping Snow take it to a new era and I love the coaches and players that I have by my side.”

Snow College’s 2025 season so far has brought them to an overall record of 18 wins and 21 losses with a conference record resulting in 13 wins and 11 losses. Most recently, the Snow Badgers knocked off region foe Northern Idaho 5-4 in a home series here in Ephraim.

The Badgers are led by sophomore, Hailey Mangum, who has posted a solid .411 batting average so far, a little more than halfway through the season. Hailey stated that, “This year is exciting, we have came together as a team and have really made strides as we focus on the postseason”

The Badgers are looking to continue their success and push forward as they make their way through the season. The Badgers have only one more regular season series as they play Salt lake Community College the 25-26 of April. Come out and support the Badgers as they try to make a late season push towards a Region 18 championship.
