As old timers and newcomers from around the world begin and resume their journey towards higher education Ephraim is filled with anticipation and excitement waiting for the 2024-2025 school year to begin. Snow College has once again resumed and with it a multitude of activities that were sure to excite. Returning student Lindsay Wakley stated that the best part of being back at Snow was “seeing all of her friends again after the summer.”
While the first week of school was filled with new classes and new people, students also participated in fun experiences like a Paint Dance, Movies and Ice Cream, an Institute Barbeque and a parking lot dance. There was much to do on Snow Colleges Campus. The excitement for many students began August 23, 2024 on move in day. This was the day that people from all over the world came together and began new lives in new homes with new people that were sure to change their lives for better or for worse. Lilly Allred shared that “moving out and learning to be independent” is what has so far been the best part of becoming a badger Sarah Rasmussen shared in that same sentiment that the best part of coming to Snow College was “the friends I’ve made!”
Snow College began in 1888 and has since grown recognition for its high graduation rates and phenomenal programs and staff. Snow is also renowned for its affordability and as student Jacob Carlisle pointed out “Classes are smaller than a typical college.” Snow's low tuition and smaller class sizes allows for a more personal education and experience making the welcome back to school experience even more exciting for incoming and returning students. After months of quiet Ephraim is ready to bring back the badgers!
