Staff

The time has come when students start to worry about their schedules and schooling. It is time for schedules to be made for the upcoming spring semester here at Snow College and to see how close each student is to graduating and taking the next step on pursuing the job of their dreams. The Academic Advising Center is where students go to gain information on scheduling, the spring semester, and being on track for graduation.

The Advising Center is located on the upper floor of the Graham Student Center on the west side of the building, opposite of the registration and financial center.

The advisor's responsibility is to assist in the academic exploration and development of students and their goals.

Academic advisor Jennifer Peterson stated “Every student matters to us, we want them to succeed in everything they do.”

When asked about the importance of having an academic advisor, Jennifer Peterson also states, “We can help them find their pathway to graduation, so that the students can set goals.”

Peterson also talks about how having an advisor can help when transferring schools by saying, “We help the students align our classes with other schools' classes so they can take more classes at a less expensive price.”

The advisors want to help every student they can, any time of the day, every day. Students should consider the benefits of the Advising Center to create a more successful future

Every advisor is willing to help. The advising center wishes luck to Snow College students with their academic progression.
