The Snow College softball team record is 11-16 on the year and sitting at 6-6 in conference play. Currently, the Badgers have three series under their belt with four more left in the year one at home and the remaining three on the road.

The Badgers started the season off on the wrong foot going 5-10 in the out-of-conference tournaments, but found their footing when they started conference play in Ephraim against Utah State Eastern going 3-1 over the weekend. They then traveled up to Coeur d’Alene where they split the series 2-2 with North Idaho College. The Badgers then came back home to take on the College of Southern Idaho where they played close against the Golden Eagles going 1-1 in overtime games and losing the last game of the series in 5 innings.

The Badgers statistically are led by multiple sophomores in different categories; The leader in batting average is Haily Magnum who is hitting .430 with 40 hits on 93 at-bats with 15 RBIs to follow it. She has slowly worked her way up the batting order and has been leading off for the Badgers for the last six games.

Snow has hit 14 home runs on the year and leading the way is Ayden Fitch who has hit 5 followed by freshmen Brooke Fisher with 4 and Kamyrn Allen with 3 of her own and is also 5 home runs away from taking the career record at 28.

Snow's leading pitcher is Avery Thorkelson who has appeared in 23 games for the Badgers starting 12 of them she is currently pitching with a 4.50 era on 101 innings pitched. She has 60 strikeouts to 38 walks on the year. Following her is freshman Taimane Laolagi-Aloy who has a 5.90 era in 17 appearances and 11 starts.

Looking forward the Badgers will play up at Price when they take on the Utah State Eastern Eagles on April 4th and 5th.

Snow will play their final home series against the College of Northern Idaho on April 11th and 12th, so come out and support the Badgers. For more information read at https://snowbadgers.com
